Ce support bloque les mouvements horizontaux (axe x) et verticaux (axe y). Il existe cependant une possibilit\u00e9 de rotation autour de la charni\u00e8re. C'est pourquoi on parle de pivot <strong>articul\u00e9<\/strong> non glissant. Dans ce support, nous avons une r\u00e9action dans la direction verticale. C'est dans cette direction qu'aucun mouvement n'est possible. Dans ce cas, en plus de bloquer le mouvement dans les directions verticale et horizontale, la possibilit\u00e9 de rotation au point de retenue est \u00e9galement bloqu\u00e9e. Le patin vertical est d\u00e9pourvu de deux degr\u00e9s de libert\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la r\u00e9action et au moment horizontaux.
