That is, it cannot move under the action of external forces. class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Statically determinate systems - the degree of static non-determinism of such a system is zero.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statically indeterminate systems - the degree of static indeterminacy of such a system is greater than zero.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"6qntd\" class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\"><strong>Degree of static indeterminacy<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"4f0a8\">To calculate the degree of static nonconvexity of a given system, you can use the formula below. This formula is best used when calculating <strong>beams<\/strong> i <strong>ram<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-theme-6-background-color has-background has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><em>N=R-J-3<\/em><br>where:<br>N - degree of static indeterminacy<br>R - the number of support reactions. That is, the sum of all reactions for our supports<br>J - number of internal joints - if not present P=0<br>3 - the number of equilibrium equations. In static systems it is 3<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"bs1pc\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"c5flq\">For <strong>truss<\/strong> We will use the formula as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-stripes\"><table class=\"has-theme-6-background-color has-background has-fixed-layout\"><tbody><tr><td><em>2n = m + r<\/em><br>where:<br>n - number of truss nodes (nodes)<br>m - number of truss bars (members)<br>r - number of support reactions (reactions)<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"5q9fd\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"c16vb\">A truss is determinable if the above relation is satisfied. That is, the doubled number of nodes must be equal to the sum of the bars and the number of reactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"99n4e\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Statically determinable system<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"4r04j\">So what is this static determinability? A statically determinable system is one for which we can calculate the support reactions. For example, our beam or will be statically determinable if, using the three equilibrium equations, we can calculate all reactions. The degree of static indeterminacy in such systems is greater than zero. The number of unknowns of the support reactions is greater than the number of equilibrium equations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"26mg3\">N &gt; 0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"5jns3\">where:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"220qh\">R=5 - sum of all reactions for our supports<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"7h4gb\">J=0 - number of internal joints, not present<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"zppsb79063\">3 - number of equilibrium equations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"e89n0\">The beam is statically non-determinable twice - (result N=2)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"b7veh\">Such a system is stiff and has no possibility of working. The beam under load or temperature change has no possibility of displacement, in other words, the possibility of working.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 id=\"fl324\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mechanisms<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"4238i\">The last type of systems I will discuss are systems that have the possibility of movement - mechanisms.
