How to use the Frame Calculator:


  1. Node tab:
    • Enter the x and y coordinates of the nodes in sequence and their designation
    • Set the appropriate units and press the "Update" button to save the changes
  2. Members tab:
    • Select the start node and the end node of the bar from the list and press add
  3. Add Supports (Supports Tab)
    • Select a support type and insert it in any node of the frame. Available support types include:
      • Pin support
      • Roller support
      • Fixed Support (Cantilever/Rigid) 
    • He will press the "Add" button. The support will be added to the frame diagram
  4. Apply Loads (Loads Tab)
    • Select a load type and insert it in any node or bar of the frame. Available load types include:
      • Point load
      • Bending Moment: Applied external moments.
      • Uniformly Distributed Load (UDL): Constant pressure over a span.
    • Finalize: Fill in the magnitudes and click "Add" to update the loading diagram.
    • The load will be added to the frame diagram drawing
  5. Verify Data: Double-check your inputs. Use the "Edit" button to adjust any load or support instantly.
  6. Generate Results: Click "Solve" to process the calculations.
  7. You will be taken to a new page with the results for your assignment. You can save the result to a Ms Word file.
  8. You can reload the result by selecting it from " My Solutions" available in the user panel
